A piece of land donated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai for the purpose of constructing residential Awqaf and Endowments. This option will enable potential donors who have funds and no assets to participate. Income generated from each building will be pooled to meet Awqaf and Endowment needs. The District is sponsored by the Centre, and is divided into two areas; Dubai Awqaf and Endowments District for the UAE and the Dubai Awqaf and Endowments District for the Arab World. The former's function is to meet societal needs in the UAE, while the latter meets societal needs in various Arab countries.
